Hi there!
Believe it or not, here comes September again!
A new academic year is coming and I'm not sure I'm looking forward to it. ;-)
There are new challenges ahead, some of them exciting but... It's so good to stay away from high school for a while!
Anyway, I hope to do a good job in my new responsibility (otherwise my teacher colleagues will kill me!).

Siguiendo las sugerencias de Gorka Palazio en Expocampus '08, visito la página Livemocha.com.
Muy interesante: aprendizaje de idiomas 'tutorizado' por miembros nativos registrados en la comunidad. Además diversos niveles, ... gratis.

Queridos compañeros del curso e-learning 2.0 y público en general.
El pasado 9 de Mayo tuvo lugar el sexto congreso anual de Expocampus. Fue una ocasión muy especial en la que algunos participantes del curso de e-learning 2.0 nos reunimos y asistimos a algunas ponencias que versaban sobre la experiencia 2.0, las pizarras digitales, el e-learning corporativo, etc.
A estas alturas Esperanza Román en su blog http://elearningxxi.blogspot.com/ ha incluído su presentación. Además nuestro compañero Carlos González Casares http://segundoorden.blogspot.com/ nos ha preparado un resumen de las ponencias con la intención de que añadamos, dicrepemos, ampliemos, etc. El texto lo podemos encontrar en nuestra wiki (https://elearningxxi.wikispaces.com/)
El encuentro fue interesante y no menos agradable fue la cena con compañeros y profesores.
Desde un punto de vista crítico, las intervenciones de Gorka Palazio, llena de dinamismo, entusiasmo y contenido y la de nuestra profesora Esperanza, tan 'down-to earth', cercana, realista y pragmática, fueron las mejores.
Probablemente por mis intereses personales, las ponencias referidas al mundo corporativo fueron más 'difíciles de digerir'.

Múltiples herramientas para Web 2.0

De las muchas referencias que se encuentran en la red con un catálogo de aplicaciones para Web 2.0, leí esta que me pareció muy completa. En fin, como decimos en inglés 'check it out!'. (Está actualizada a fecha Agosto - 2006)

¡Hola compañeros de e-learning 2.0!

Bienvenidos a este 'batiburrillo' que he preparado en los últimos tiempos. Como podeis observar, el blog es un tanto 'ecléctico': algunos 'widgets' insertados, referencias a sitios web relacionados con la Web 2.0, algún intento 'ficticio' de relación con mis alumnos (composiciones, etc.), referencias al baloncesto NBA (una de mis pasiones, qué le vamos a hacer). Incluyo además de un RSS con las noticias actualizadas de la NBA en inglés (sorry) , otro RSS que actualiza podcasts para practicar un poquito 'listening', muy adecuado para esos 'hipotéticos' alumnos de bachillerato o para cualquiera de vosotros si os animáis.
Por cierto el viaje a Italia fue real, con alumnos de bachillerato reales.

We're back and alive!

Right in the end, I have to say that this trip has been really fine. Everything went smooth, the students behaved and we really had a good time.It was kind of tiring (the coach but especially the long journeys in Rome (endless walks around the city).We had a bit of a 'booze disturbance' but nothing too worrisome.
I'll see to upload some clean pictures of the trip.

Let's go to Italy!

I don't know what was going through my mind but the thing is I said 'yes' when I was told to embark on this year's 1st Bachillerato trip to Italy.
Never mind. Next Friday we're flying to Rome and we'll stay there for a week visiting Florence, Venice and Rome, of course.
It's gonna be kind of tiring because we're spending long hours in a coach but on the other hand we're going to see some famous museums and interesting places as well: Los Uffizi, the Vatican Museums, the city of Sienna, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, ...
The guys are really nice (hopefully) but , you know, a bunch of 17-18 year-olds running wild in Italian cities, hmmm, scary!
I will tell you something about this trip in the coming days and maybe I can even include some snaps of it.
